Jenny Parlier is RES’ Senior Analytics Manager. In this role, Jenny provides hands on data analytics support from beginning to end, empowering clients and arming them with the knowledge and tools to make well-informed decisions.

“I really enjoy watching all of our clients gain the ability to answer questions very quickly after they have transitioned from a planning strategy that has taken years to create,” said Jenny. “By giving them the ability to research and make decisions in real time, we’re saving them money and time and I love being a part of that process.”

When asked about her favorite thing about working with RES, Jenny said, “I really enjoy our company culture – we are all a bit adventurous, and I think that comes across in the way we approach our work. In the time I’ve been with the company, I’ve never known RES to back down from any challenge, and that’s inspiring.”

Jenny has over fifteen years of experience in GIS analytics. Prior to joining RES just over a year ago, she served as a GIS Manager with The Shopping Center Group, and gained expertise in assisting retailers find the best locations for their stores. In addition to retail real estate, she has worked as a GIS Analyst in a variety of industries including environmental, telecom, and government.

She has found a particular passion for healthcare because of its relevancy to everyone. “It’s very satisfying to know that my work has an immediate impact on someone having access to good healthcare in their community,” she said.

An Atlanta native, Jenny moved to New Mexico where she earned her Master’s degree in Southwestern Archaeology and Geographic Information Systems from New Mexico State University. She holds Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) and ESRI Desktop Associate certifications. After completing her studies, twelve years ago she found her way back to the four seasons of Georgia, where she currently lives with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, baking and travel.

When asked about a few things that people may not know about her, she confessed to being terrified of ostriches and only having the ability to wink with her left eye.
