Chief Executive Officer
Charles served as Vice President, Development and Investment at Trammell Crow Company. As CEO of RES, Charles oversees all aspects of RES client services from initial client engagement through final opportunity execution. Charles has a passion for helping clients become more strategic. With vast expertise in the Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Oil & Gas, and Wholesale industries, Charles has partnered with hundreds of organizations to leverage the power of data and analytics to create innovative business and real estate strategies that transform their portfolios and enable core business success. As CEO of RES, Charles oversees all aspects of RES client services from initial client engagement through final opportunity execution. Additionally, Charles is responsible for company strategy, innovation, investments, talent acquisition, and more.
Before RES, Charles held several leadership positions at CBRE including Global Head of Innovation, Managing Director of CBRE’s Retail and Healthcare Analytics consulting practices, and Director of Client Strategy and Consulting. Earlier in his career, Charles served as Vice President, Development and Investment at Trammell Crow Company. He also held various positions at Sterne Agee Asset Management, The Shopping Center Group, Southern Nuclear Company, and Hubbell Power Systems.
Charles received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and his MBA from Vanderbilt University. He also completed the Advanced Management Program: Real Estate Module at Harvard University. Among other accolades, Charles was a recipient of the CBRE Global Innovation Award three years in a row from 2010 – 2012.
Charles and his wife have two young daughters and two dogs. He is active in his church, enjoys outdoor activities like climbing, mountain biking, and hiking as well as working with his hands on cars and woodworking.
Chief Strategy Officer
As CSO of Real Estate Strategies, Andrew is responsible for all client strategic consulting activity nationwide. Andrew provides expertise in the development and delivery of strategic solutions for client real estate portfolios and has vast expertise across a number of industries including healthcare, retail, telecom, oil and gas, industrial, wholesale and others. Internally, Andrew assists RES with company strategy, innovation, investment, talent acquisition, technology development, external partnerships and more.
Prior to co-founding RES, Andrew helped develop and lead the Retail & Healthcare Analytics Platform at CBRE, a Fortune 250 global corporate real estate services provider. Other positions held with CBRE included account-based Client Strategy & Consulting and Program Management (PMO) services. Prior to this, Andrew worked in the management of government-subsidized (Section 8 & 202) multifamily housing properties.
Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Outside of RES, Andrew enjoys rebuilding and hopping up motorcycles and cars, and recreational sports shooting.
Chief Operating Officer
Scott has more than two decades of experience managing real estate transactions for corporate clients. His expertise is in market analysis, lease negotiations, and financial analysis. This expertise, combined with a process-driven approach, brings tremendous value to clients looking for a consistent, high level of performance in transactions across multiple markets. As Chief Operating Officer of Real Estate Strategies, Scott is focused on delivering outstanding results for clients from strategy creation through execution management, while also seeking to improve their internal approval and transaction service delivery models.
Prior to joining RES, Scott held several positions at CBRE including Alliance Director on the BBVA Compass account; Director of Transaction Management on the Regions Bank account and Senior Transaction Manager on various other accounts. Earlier in his career, Scott also worked for the Daniel Corporation and The Amend Group.
Scott earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing and his MBA from the University of Alabama. Scott is married with three teenage kids. He enjoys wakesurfing, mountain biking and hunting big fish in small waters.
President of Development & Investments
Josh brings nearly fifteen years of experience in the development of healthcare real estate and his proficiency spans across the continuum of care including inpatient, outpatient, post/sub-acute care, and senior housing. As President of RES’ development and investments platform, Josh oversees the day-to-day management of the company and is responsible for the sourcing, structuring, and delivery of healthcare assets nationwide.Prior to joining RES, Josh served as Senior Vice President of Healthcare Development Partners, a boutique healthcare real estate development firm, and as Director of Real Estate of BJC Healthcare in St. Louis, one of the nation’s largest non-profit health systems. Earlier in his career, Josh led development efforts for Cogdell Spencer Erdman, a publicly traded real estate investment trust.
Josh received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa and his Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis. Josh and his wife reside in Charlotte, NC and have four children and two dogs. Josh is active in his church and enjoys coaching of youth sports, a number of outdoor activities, and travel adventures.
Director of Strategic Consulting
Tanner is currently the Director of Strategic Consulting for RES. In his role, Tanner utilizes his background in business, community planning, and GIS analytics to help deliver compelling market strategies for clients. Tanner’s unique background allows him to assist clients by drawing connections between business strategy, GIS analysis, and the community at large. He is responsible for guiding active clients through all phases of a project including data collection, analytics, opportunity identification, and final presentation and approval.
Prior to joining RES, Tanner was an integral part of the CBRE Healthcare and Portfolio Analytics team. While employed at RES and CBRE, Tanner worked to further enhance his ability to serve clients by concurrently earning a second Master’s Degree from the University of Alabama.
Tanner earned his undergraduate degree in Rural Studies from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a Master’s degree in Geography and a second Master’s in Global Business Management from the University of Alabama. Tanner is married with one child. He enjoys time with family, outdoor adventures, automotive restoration and building scale models in his free time.
Chief Cultivation Officer
Craig Beam has overseen the development and management of a broad range of real estate with a focus on healthcare and institutional projects. He has been involved in healthcare policy development and implementation through his service in a variety of governance positions with key healthcare participants. As CCO of Real Estate Strategies, Craig oversees all aspects of RES client services from initial client engagement through final opportunity execution. Craig is also the President of Beam & Associates, a California based real estate development and brokerage firm.
Prior to joining RES, Craig served as Managing Director, National Healthcare Services Group, at CBRE, and as Chief Financial Officer at a major California real estate developer.
Craig graduated from California State University Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He has served on the board of directors for numerous healthcare companies and hospitals. He is also an endowed fellow of the National Health Foundation, and an advisor to the director of the National Institutes of Health.
Craig has been very active with numerous non-profit organizations including the American Heart Association, the World Heart Federation, the California Healthcare Association, and others. He is an avid reader and enthusiastic golfer. As a native of Southern California he enjoys a wide variety of ocean activities.
Sr. Analytics Manager
As Senior Analytics Manager of RES, Jenny provides data analytics support and delivers innovative solutions to clients from project start to finish. She is also responsible for managing the client on-boarding experience for RES’ online analytics portal. Drawing from her fifteen years of experience in GIS analytics, Jenny is dedicated to empowering clients by giving them the necessary knowledge and tools to make well-informed decisions.
Prior to joining RES, Jenny served as a GIS Manager with The Shopping Center Group, and gained expertise in assisting retailers find the best locations for their stores. In addition to her retail real estate experience, she has worked as a GIS Analyst in a variety of industries such as environmental, telecom, and government.
Jenny earned her Master’s degree in Southwestern Archaeology and Geographic Information Systems from New Mexico State University. She holds Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) and ESRI Desktop Associate certifications. Jenny and her husband have two children. In her free time, she enjoys camping, hiking, gardening, and travel.
Sr. Analytics Manager
Jason’s diverse educational and professional background help bring a multidisciplinary approach to the RES team as Senior Analytics Manager. His background in both retail management and GIS allow him to keep customer service at the forefront of his analysis.
Before joining RES, Jason spent seven years as a GIS analyst working in both the public sector and private sector, specializing in FEMA floodplain mapping, municipal GIS, and environmental analysis. He uses his broad GIS background to find efficient and innovative solutions for his clients.
Jason received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and a Certificate of Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Georgia. He completed an additional certificate program in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Kennesaw State University. Jason is married and spends his free time fishing, camping, and spending time with friends and family.
